Ms. Catherine Christine is a highly qualified and experienced educator, holding an M.Phil in Sociology and Politics of Development from the University of Cambridge, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Classics. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she specialises in KS2, KS3, 11+ and13+ English, GCSE Classics, and Latin.

​Ms. Christine has taught at some of the UK’s most respected schools, including Putney High School and St. Olave’s, and brings a wealth of knowledge in teaching Classics and Latin. She uses innovative resources to make these traditionally challenging subjects engaging and accessible for all students.​​ In 2019, nearly half of Ms. Christine’s GCSE Classical Civilisation class achieved a grade 9, with one student earning the highest mark in the UK. This outstanding achievement highlights her ability to guide students through challenging subjects while ensuring they feel confident and supported throughout their studies.

 

In addition to her expertise in Classics and Latin, Ms. Christine has taught KS3 Religious Studies and English,  helping students to build strong skills in language, literature, and the humanities. Her flexible teaching style ensures that each student receives the right balance of academic challenge and support, tailored to their individual needs.
